JAMIE MASTERS
Jamie Masters has been working as a full-time sound engineer since 2001, becoming freelance in 2005 and launching Echo Studios in 2007. Having gradually worked his way into the producer’s chair, he now splits his time between producing and engineering sessions.
A self-taught guitar player, Jamie spent his teens and twenties playing in numerous guitar bands, gradually realising that the studio was where he belonged. He has a wide variety of experience in recording albums, EPs, singles and demos for both professional and amateur artists, and is a member of the Music Producers Guild.
Jamie is married to Nicola and together they have two children, Neve and Rufus (he wasn’t allowed to call his second child after a mixing desk as well… although Solid State Logic was an option for a while). He struggles to do anything before having at least two cups of coffee in the morning!
